In the Dictionary Under "Optimism"...

It's funny how things come together. Never the way you'd planned or hoped, but oftentimes that's for the best. It took over a year for the Gena Rowlands Band album to find a label home, but when Richard Vernon brought me on at Autoclave, the providential course of this album came clear to me. I've been in the rock underground since I was 15 and I know a lot of people, so it was more than a little disappointing when none of them knew what to do with this record. But Richard and I understood each other immediately. I realized the long wait was worth it. So now, "(trailer)" will hit stores in the U.K. as well as Internet outlets on October 20. The full album, "La Merde et Les Etoiles," will come out this winter. Also, Sally Forth Records in the Netherlands is releasing a GRB song on their "Pet Series" compilation and may also release more. Apparently we're HUGE in Europe. I don't know why.
